WASHINGTON - It's Obama Girl 2.0.
Philadelphia-based singer Leah Kauffman released a follow-up music video to the 2007 sensation that helped Barack Obama catch the attention of male voters. That video racked up more than 25 million page views.
Kauffman's updated version brings YouTubers up to speed on the last four years, including references to the end of the military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy, troop withdrawals from Iraq and killing bin Laden - all signature initiatives of the Obama administration and fodder for his reelection.
The new video continues the candidate adoration, with lines like "I cannot wait until you get all eight, you're the sexiest candidate," and "I like your immigration policy, I'd let you stay inside my country."
