Vending machine makes $6 pizza (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON – Vending machines are a convenience for those too busy to step out for a bite to eat. Snackers can grab a soft drink, a candy bar or a pizza.

That’s right, a pizza.

Let’s Pizza, already popular in Europe, is about to land on U.S. soil. The vending machine can cook a 10.5-inch pizza for $6 in under 3 minutes.

The CEO for A1 Concepts, the distributer of Let’s Pizza, Ronald Rammers tells Pizza Marketplace the machine has enough ingredients to make 200 pizzas and uses the Internet to notify operators when it needs restocking.

“We have our own facilities where we produce the toppings,” Rammers tells Pizza Marketplace. “And it is possible to create any kind of pizza – meat, fish, vegetarian, any kind.”

For another fee, diners can get a packet containing a napkin, pizza cutter and oregano.
