Forget the iPhone. The Vertu takes the smartphone to the next level. The device has a concierge service that gets you into exclusive clubs, makes travel bookings and orders the finest wines. The Vertu sells for $13,800.

This toilet truly deserves being called a “throne.” Named Numi, Kohler’s newest innovation in relief costs more than $6,000 — but comes with some exciting features. Numi has adjustable, heated seats, opens when approached and offers a touchscreen interface.
