WASHINGTON – Gas prices dropped 4 cents this week, but are 18 cents higher than a year ago, the WTOP Pain in the Gas Survey finds.
The average price of a gallon of regular gas dropped to $3.64 from last week’s $3.68, while mid-grade fell 5 cents to $3.86 a gallon.
Premium dropped 7 cents to $4.03 and diesel dropped 14 cents to $4.01 a gallon.
A year ago, WTOP’s weekly survey found that gas also dropped by 2 cents to $3.46 a gallon. Mid-grade on Nov. 3 was $3.64, premium, $3.77, and diesel, $3.95.
