A cloudy start to this Friday morning but not too bad of a day out there today! Temperatures will be just a touch warmer than yesterday but still pegged to stay in the mid to upper 50s. Clouds will pop around the region today with some filtered sunshine. Those clouds will stick around for your Saturday as low pressure tracks east from the south. A little more sunshine on Saturday than on Friday but definitely on the warmer side, with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. There is a chance for some rain showers south and east of the D.C. metro area, though if this area of low pressure drifts a little more to the north, expect more clouds, lower daytime temperatures and possibly some light rain showers. If you are traveling down the I-95 corridor on Saturday, you will likely run into some rain.
By Easter Sunday, a mix of sun and clouds are on tap. Daytime highs top out in the mid to upper 60s with a dry day expected. We'll rebound into the lower 70s for the start of the next work week, but you can expect rain by the time we head into Tuesday afternoon. Some thunderstorms are possible with the arrival of a cold front on Tuesday. By Wednesday, temperatures drop back into the 60s with some breezy conditions.
