Looks nice out today, but feels cooler. A cold front crossed our area last evening and as high pressure pushes in from the west, it will make for a windy Wednesday.
The Northwesterly flow will draw in a cooler air mass and temperatures will be about 10 degrees down from Tuesday. In addition, the air is drier and with little measurable rain from yesterday's showers, the region is under a Red Flag Warning today. That means fires would spread quickly today due to dry fuels, low dew points and gusty winds, so it is advised to avoid outdoor burning and extinguish those cigarettes completely. By tomorrow, we will start to warm up a little more to near seasonal conditions and the 70s return with southerly winds for Friday, but showers will be possible in the afternoon.
