Metro offers extra hour of service
Friday - 11/4/2011, 11:14am  ET
WASHINGTON - This is the weekend you turn your clocks back an hour for daylight saving time. For Metro riders, the time change means an extra hour of service.
Trains will run on their normal schedule.
When the clock turns back an hour at 2 a.m. Sunday, it becomes 1 a.m., so there will still be two hours of Metro service remaining.
Metro is still reminding you to check the last train schedules for specific stations.
Metro plans to do major work on the Red Line this weekend and will be single tracking on the Blue and Orange lines.
