ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- Metro trains are now running on both tracks of the Yellow and Blue lines between the Braddock Road and National Airport stations.
Flooding in the Potomac Yard area of Alexandria forced Metro to suspend subway service for three hours between those stations early Monday.
The flooding caused huge delays on both the Yellow and Blue lines.
Metro initially reported it had a track problem in the area, and then said it could not operate trains through the area because the water level was above the height of the top of the rail.
Metro established bus shuttle service at 6:20 a.m.
The Metro delays have folks venting. Here's a look at what they are saying on Twitter.
