ELLICOTT CITY, Md. - Howard County highway crews have cleaned up a manure spill that covered a mile-and-a-half stretch of a street there.
Howard County Fire Battalion Chief Eric D. Proctor tells The Baltimore Sun ( http://bsun.md/pHDdVD) that crews spent nearly three hours early Sunday cleaning up the liquid manure. The spill prompted street closures while crews cleaned the pavement.
