COLUMBIA, Md. - A Columbia man has been charged in the death of a bail bondswoman.
Dominique Davon McDonald was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder. Howard County police say he's being held on $2 million bond.
Police believe 21-year-old McDonald arranged for bail bondswoman Nichole McNair to meet him Monday so he could make a payment owed for a recent bail.
Investigators searched an apartment where McDonald was staying and found a loaded handgun. They say they also found a note in McNair's car indicating that she was collecting money from McDonald.
It was not immediately clear if McDonald had a lawyer.
