WASHINGTON - Trying to fight traffic to get to a concert can ruin all the fun, but now one venue is teaming up with a bus service to help you just sit back and relax.
Merriweather Post Pavilion is officially partnering with Rock & Bus, a company that runs round-trip bus service to concerts.
The buses pick up at several spots in the area, including D.C.'s Union Station, the College Park Shopping Center, downtown Silver Spring, the Kingstowne Shopping Center and the Ballston Common Shopping Center.
You buy tickets for the bus separately from those for the concert itself. A round trip costs about $40, although the price is a bit lower if you buy early.
Rock & Bus's sister company Muzik Bus is running trips to Free Fest on Saturday. Tickets for those trips are currently going for $50.
