The Associated Press

(AP) - YOUNG AT WORK: Electronics manufacturer Foxconn said it found underage interns as young as 14 working at one of its factories in China. China's minimum legal working age is 16.

THE COMPANY: Foxconn, owned by Taiwan's Hon Hai, is best known as the manufacturer of Apple's iPhone but said the factory in question had no connection with its work for Apple.

WHAT NEXT: The company said interns were sent back to their schools. It is investigating with the schools how the interns were sent to its factory. Foxconn didn't say how many underage interns it found.
