WASHINGTON - From Rhett & Scarlett to Harry & Sally, the road of movie history is paved with romance.

So just in time for Valentine's Day, I'm counting down my Top 25 favorite movie couples. I had no idea how hard it would be to whittle my list of 50 couples down to just 25, while hitting various classics across multiple generations.

The list is also limited to Hollywood flicks, meaning no foreign masterpieces like "Wings of Desire" (1987) or "In the Mood for Love" (2000), two of my all-time favorites.
