WASHINGTON - Looking to blow off some Sandy-induced steam? There are plenty of notable music events to help you unwind over the weekend.
This weekend's top music picks include folk, funk, a dance party and metal.
Dethklok brings its unique brand of metal to the Fillmore Silver Spring. Dethklok started out as a virtual band featured in Adult Swim's television show, Metalocalypse. The real-life version of the band first toured in 2007, and has released three albums.

Jonathan Edwards takes the stage at Wolf Trap. Edwards is best known for his Vietnam protest song, "Sunshine (Go Away Today)." His solo acoustic performances feature great storytelling and masterful singing.
Soulive's catalog includes an album of Beatles covers, and Lettuce has been cranking out old-school funk for 20 years.
