Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Fallon sing parody about Chris Christie scandal (Video)

WASHINGTON – Son of New Jersey Bruce Springsteen and late night comedian Jimmy Fallon joined forces to retool one of Springsteen’s hits to address “bridge-gate” — the scandal surrounding embattled governor of the Garden State Chris Christie.

“The Boss,” armed with a guitar, appeared on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” early Wednesday and sang “Born To Run” alongside Fallon with words reworked to poke fun of the revenge-fuel lane closures at the entrance to the George Washington Bridge after the Fort Lee mayor declined to endorse Christie.

In a matching cut-off jean shirts and red bandannas, the duo sang lines about the scandal around a chorus of “I’m stuck in Gov. Chris Christie’s Fort Lee, New Jersey traffic jam.”

Christie is admittedly a big Springsteen fan and has attended more than 100 Springsteen shows, according to USA TODAY.
