Eviction delayed from ‘Real Housewives’ mansion

MORRISTOWN, N.J. (AP) — “Real Housewives of New Jersey” cast members Melissa and Joe Gorga won’t be able to move back into their Montville mansion just yet.

A judge on Thursday ruled the tenant who is renting it may stay for 17 more days provided he makes a $25,000 payment.

The Gorgas have been seeking to evict Kai Patterson, saying he has not been making payments on his $20,000-a-month lease-purchase agreement for the home in Montville.

Attorney Frank Catania said the Gorgas want to return to Montville from Franklin Lakes, where they’ve been renting, in order to register their three children for school.

Outside of court, Joe Gorga told The Star-Ledger of Newark (http://bit.ly/1qNKKSC ) that Patterson was “scamming” him.

Patterson claims he paid for repairs that the Gorgas never had done.
