Real Veep and TV Veep in video caper

WASHINGTON — All sorts of hijinks ensue when the White House lets down its figurative hair for the White House Correspondents Dinner, and endeavors to appear human, and funny.

Tonight’s presentation was no different as real Vice President Joe Biden and TV Vice President Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfuss’ character from the HBO show “Veep”), teamed up for a parody video that felt a little like a “Veep” episode — albeit clean of the usual cussing, and some of the popular series’ dark edginess.

In the video, Biden calls up Meyer and invites her for a night on the town, and picks her up in a yellow sports car. They have ice-cream in the White House, get scolded by the First Lady, and cause mayhem at The Washington Post. Check out the full video at The Huffington Post:
