NEW YORK (AP) -- A comic book artist who forgot more than 100 of his sketches in a New York City taxi is using his talent to try to find them.
Neal Adams has plastered a sketch of the cabdriver and his lost bag around the city.
The New York Post (http://bit.ly/174YsJ6 ) says Adams got out of the cab on Sept. 4. He left a bag containing two portfolios in the trunk. They had about 120 sketches of such characters as Batman and Green Arrow.
Adams' work on Green Lantern and Green Arrow brought realism and contemporary issues into the pages of DC Comics, and his artwork commands top dollar among collectors.
The Taxi and Limousine Commission says it's doing everything it can. The commission's spokesman, Allan Fromberg, says he's a huge Adams fan.
