Ryan Williams wins PGA Tour Canada finale

LONDON, Ontario (AP) — Ryan Williams won PGA Tour Canada’s season-ending Tour Championship on Sunday, and Joel Dahmen took the money title to top the five Web.com Tour qualifiers.

Williams, from Vancouver, British Columbia, closed with a 4-under 68 at Sunningdale for a one-stroke victory over Adam Cornelson and Clayton Rask.

Williams finished at 14-under 274 total.

Cornelson shot a 68, and Rask had a 71.

Dahmen, a former University of Washington player from Lewiston, Idaho, won two times this season and earned $80,992 to take the lone fully exempt spot next year on the Web.com Tour. He tied for 24th in the finale at 3 under.

Matt Harmon was second on the money list, followed by Timothy Madigan, Brock Mackenzie and England’s Greg Eason. Williams was sixth and earned a $10,000 bonus as the top Canadian.
