KENMORE, Wash. (AP) -- Sherri Turner won the Legends Swing for the Cure on Sunday for her third Legends Tour title, holing a 25-foot birdie putt on final hole for a one-stroke victory.
The 56-year-old Turner shot a 3-under 70 in the one-day event at Inglewood Golf Club. She earned $15,000.
"It was a dead straight putt, but fast," Turner said. "I was worried about running it past the hole 4 or 5 feet."
Patty Sheehan and Christa Johnson shot 71, and Danielle Ammaccapane and Cindy Miller followed at 72.
Turner won three times on the LPGA Tour.
"It feels just as important to win out here as it did on the LPGA Tour," Turner said. "We're playing the same players we did back then and we're all so very competitive with each other. So to know that I can come out here and win a tournament playing with the best players at my age, it's important to me."
