Georgetown wins lone T-25 matchup...Blackhawks roll on

CINCINNATI (AP) -- Markel Starks scored a team-high 17 points and 15th-ranked Georgetown improved to 9-3 in the Big East with a 62-55 win at Cincinnati. The Hoyas blew a 12-point lead in the second half before Starks hit a go-ahead three-pointer and added five free throws in the final minute. Otto Porter added 16 points in the Hoyas' seventh consecutive win.

CHICAGO (AP) -- The Chicago Blackhawks remain the NHL's lone team without a regulation loss, improving to 11-0-3 with a 4-1 win over San Jose. Marcus Kruger scored the eventual game-winner and had an assist as the Western Conference-leading Hawks stayed four points ahead of Anaheim.

DETROIT (AP) -- Andrew Cogliano scored twice during Anaheim's three-goal third period that wrapped up a 5-2 win at Detroit. Viktor Fasth made 26 saves to become the first goalie in seven years to win his first seven career starts.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- South Korea's Sang-Moon Bae and Fredrik Jacobson share the lead at the midway point of the PGA's Northern Trust Open at Riviera. Both players signed off on 6-under-par 65s for a 9-under total, one shot ahead of John Merrick and John Rollins.

NAPLES, Fla. (AP) -- Bernhard Langer (LAHN'-gur) is the first-round leader at the Champions Tour event in Naples, Fla. Langer fired a 10-under-par 62 that included an eagle and five birdies on the back nine for a three-shot edge over Bob Tway. Tom Pernice (pur-NEES') Jr., Jay Don Blake and John Huston opened with 66s.
