Yoga clothing store Lululemon Athletica will open a location in Bethesda’s Westfield Montgomery mall this weekend with three-days worth of special events and free classes.

The Canadian- based shop selling yoga pants, running shorts and other workout gear will open Friday on the first floor of the Nordstrom wing of the mall — it’s second Bethesda location.

Friday’s opening celebrations include an in-store DJ from 1 p.m.-6 p.m., plus a make your own trail mix and “lululemonade” station from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

In case you’d like to purchase yoga pants and immediately put them to use, the store will offer a free yoga class at 8:30 a.m. in a nearby open area of the mall. If you’d rather watch, the store will host acroyoga performers throughout the day. On Sunday, local cycling chain Zengo will offer a free cycling class from 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. in the Nordstrom wing and shoppers will be able to enter a contest for free Zengo sessions.

“Lululemon embodies the healthy and positive lifestyle that resonates so well with our local Bethesda community, so we’re thrilled to welcome the brand to the Westfield Montgomery family,” Westfield Montgomery senior marketing director Patti Green said in a prepared statement.  “At Westfield Montgomery, we’re always looking for ways to help bring the local community together and lululemon’s events this weekend exemplify some of exciting activities we hope will become regular occurrences throughout the center in the near future.”

The store will be open from 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
