Weekly Crime Report: Aug. 18 to Aug. 26

An armed robbery near Tuckerman Lane and a break-in that led to chairs being thrown into a pool lead the most recent 2nd District crime summary:

An armed robbery occurred near the intersection of Chapman Mill Drive and Hampton Mill Terrace in North Bethesda on Tuesday, 8/26 at 12:50 a.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

Suspect: Hispanic male, 5’6″-5’7″/150-160 lbs.; semi-auto handgun

A commercial burglary occurred at 11400 Strand Drive in North Bethesda, Old Georgetown Village Condos overnight between Tuesday, 8/19 and Wednesday, 8/2. Forced entry; items thrown in the pool and damaged.

A commercial burglary occurred at 7220 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite 300 in Bethesda sometime overnight between Wednesday, 8/20 and Thursday, 8/21. Unknown entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 3700 block of Village Park Drive in Chevy Chase sometime between Monday, 8/18 and Sunday, 8/24. Forced entry; property taken.

An indecent exposure occurred in the 11500 block of Rockville Pike in North Bethesda on Sunday, 8/24 at 12:20 a.m. The suspect exposed himself to the victim then fled.

Suspect: Black male 

An indecent exposure occurred in the 10500 block of Westlake Drive in Bethesda on Tuesday, 8/26 at 10:40 a.m. The suspect exposed himself to the victim then fled.

Suspect: Black male, 5’5″/165 lbs.
