MCFRS units are evaluating whether a woman was struck by lightning near the intersection of Old Georgetown Road and Democracy Boulevard.
MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer tweeted that the woman did not sustain life threatening injuries:

Units were called to the scene at about 4:40 p.m.
