Weekly Crime Report: April 7 to April 22

The latest 2nd District crime summary includes two weeks worth of police reports from Bethesda and Chevy Chase:

A residential burglary occurred in the 5000 block of Bradley Boulevard in Bethesda on Thursday, 4/10 between 8:45 a.m. and 1:45 a.m. Unknown entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 9700 block of W. Bexhill Drive in Kensington on Monday, 4/7 between 10:45 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.

Thefts from vehicles occurred at the Marriot Conference Center, 5701 Marinelli Road in North Bethesda on Thursday, 4/10 between 6:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.

A stolen vehicle recovery occurred in the 10400 block of Grosvernor Place in North Bethesda on Wednesday, 4/9 at 10:45 p.m.

Arrested: Male, age 51, from Westover

Two thefts from vehicles occurred at the YMCA, 9401 Old Georgetown Road between Monday, 4/21 and Tuesday, 4/22. Forced entry; nothing taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at Stuart Kitchens, 4720 Rosedale Avenue in Bethesda overnight Sunday, 4/20 between 1:30 p.m. and 2:10 p.m. Entry was forced; purses, laptops, phones, glasses, and other valuables left inside were removed.

Four thefts from vehicles occurred overnight between Monday, 4/14 and Tuesday, 4/15. No forced entry; GPS units, iPods, cash, and other small items were taken. Incidents occurred on Cardigan Road, Charlocote Road, Granada Drive, and Marbury Road in Bethesda.
