Freeze Warning In Effect Overnight

An anticipated cold front means a Freeze Warning from the National Weather Service and some mid-April talk of snow.

The National Weather Service issued a Freeze Warning for much of the D.C. area, including Montgomery County from midnight tonight to 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The low temperature is expected to be in the mid-upper 20s:

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BALTIMORE MD/WASHINGTON HAS ISSUED A FREEZE WARNING…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 AM EDT WEDNESDAY. THE FREEZE WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* TEMPERATURES…LOWS IN THE MID TO UPPER 20S.

* TIMING…OVERNIGHT TONIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS…UNPROTECTED COLD-SENSITIVE VEGETATION WILL BE KILLED OR DAMAGED.

As for the snow, don’t expect any significant amount, if any.
