Weekly Crime Report: March 24 to April 1

Police say three men with ski masks robbed a popular Chinese restaurant in the Chevy Chase-Silver Spring area:

A commercial robbery occurred at Palais de Lune, 8315 Grubb Road in Chevy Chase on Friday, 3/28 just after 11:00 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

Suspects: B/M, approx 20′s, 5’7 5’8″/100 lbs.; ski mask, B/M, approx 20′s, 5’5″-5’7″; ski mask, B/M, approx 20′s, 5’4″-5’5″; ski mask 

Police also say there was a series of vehicle break-ins in the parking lot of the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Convention Center:

Three thefts from vehicles occurred at the Marriot Hotel & Convention Center located at 5701 Marinelli Road in North Bethesda. One incident occurred on Tuesday, 3/25 and two occurred on Sunday, 3/30, all at unknown times. Entry was forced in each incident and laptops were taken.

A theft occurred in the 4600 block of Chestnut Street in Bethesda sometime between Sunday, 3/30 and Monday, 3/21. Property was taken from a home under construction.

A theft occurred in the 4900 block of Strathmore Avenue in North Bethesda sometime overnight between Monday, 3/24 and Tuesday, 3/25. Property was taken from outside and from a shed.

A theft occurred outside Garrett Park Nursery, located at 4812 Oxford Street in Bethesda sometime between Monday, 3/24 and Wednesday, 3/26. Property was taken.

A theft occurred outside Addie’s Restaurant, located at 11120 Rockville Pike in Rockville sometime between Thursday, 3/27 and Sunday, 3/30. Property was taken from outside the location.

A theft from vehicle occurred at The Hills Plaza & N. Park Avenue in Chevy Chase on Saturday, 3/29 at approximately 4:00 p.m. Forced entry; wallet, camera, GPS, laptop, and iPod were taken.
