MCPS Asks For Five Days In Snow Waiver – MCPS Superintendent Joshua Starr on Tuesday sent a letter to the State Board of Education asking that the county’s school system be given a waiver for a fifth day of missed school due to snow. The previous request was for four days off of the nine missed because of snow, but that was before the March 17 snow that canceled yet another day of school. [Washington Post]

White Flint Development Map – The Friends of White Flint has put together an interactive map of development and road projects planned for the area around the White Flint Metro station. Five Chances To Chime In On Budget – The Montgomery County Council will host five public hearings on County Executive Isiah Leggett’s proposed $4.97 billion FY 2015 operating budget. Marks Talks Corporate Income Tax In Run For District 16 – Meyer Marks, a Bethesda Republican, will take on the Democratic nominee for State Senate in District 16, likely to be Del. Susan Lee. Marks said he would start by cutting the state’s corporate income tax. [The Gazette]
