Police Investigating Chevy Chase Bank Robbery

Police on Friday released surveillance photos of a suspected bank robber in a Jan. 13 robbery at a Chevy Chase Bank of America.

Police said that at about 4:39 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 13, the man in the photos above entered the bank and passed a note to a teller demanding money and implying he had a weapon. Police said he got an undisclosed amount of cash and left the bank, at 4411 South Park Ave.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25- to 30-years old, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10 tall with a medium build. He had a band-aid on his right cheek during the robbery.
