Winter Weather Advisory For Saturday

By Aaron Kraut

Friday - 12/13/2013, 3:05pm  ET

Don’t be shocked to see more snow on Saturday, but know the latest Winter Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service likely won’t have much of an impact in our area.

The NWS on Friday issued the Advisory for Howard, Montgomery and southern Baltimore Counties. But it’s likely only parts of northern Montgomery County will see any significant snow. It’ll likely be rain around D.C.

Still, the NWS says snow will change to sleet and freezing rain Saturday afternoon and evening, meaning tricky traveling conditions are possible. The State Highway Administration says it’s ready for its third winter roads operation in a week.
