Weekly Crime Report: Nov. 18 to Nov. 25

According to the most recent Bethesda area crime summary, someone broke into a Wisconsin Avenue cheesesteak joint and there was another burglary at a local pharmacy:

A commercial burglary occurred at Philadelphia Mikes, 7732 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda sometime between 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, 11/23 and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, 11/24. Forced entry; property taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at White Flint Pharmacy, 11125 Rockville Pike in North Bethesda on Monday, 11/11 between midnight and 6:40 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.

That’s the fifth commercial burglary of an area pharmacy since Nov. 6.

A residential burglary occurred in the 4200 block of Rosemary Street in Chevy Chase on Sunday, 11/24 between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at Mattress Warehouse, 6930 Wisconsin Avenue in Chevy Chase on Tuesday, 11/26 at 2:30 a.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 4400 block of Dresden Street in Kensington on Saturday, 11/23 between 9:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. No forced entry; property taken.

A residential robbery occurred in the 10500 block of Farnham Drive in Bethesda on Monday, 11/25 at 1:50 p.m.

A vehicle theft occurred in the 11800 block of Rockville Pike in Rockville on Wednesday, 11/20 at approximately 9:50 a.m.

A residential burglary occurred in the 5100 block of Marylyn Drive in Bethesda on Saturday, 11/23 between 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.

Three thefts from vehicles occurred during the afternoon or evening hours on differing days in Friendship Heights. Streets affected included: Willard Avenue, The Hills Plaza, and S Park Avenue in Chevy Chase. Loose items left inside vehicles including laptops, purses, and cash were taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 6600 block of Millwood Road in Bethesda during the early morning hours on Wednesday, 11/20. Forced entry into garage and vehicles; nothing taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 5800 block of Tanglewood Drive in Bethesda on Wednesday, 11/20 at 5:00 a.m. Forced entry into garage and vehicles; property taken.

Three thefts from vehicles occurred overnight between Monday, 11/18 and Tuesday, 11/19 on Roseland Drive and Stephalee Lane in Rockville. Entry was forced in each event; purses and wallets were taken.

A sex offense occurred in the 6400 block of Rock Spring Drive in Bethesda on Tuesday, 11/19 at 9:45 p.m. The suspect inappropriately touched the victim.
