Montgomery County Police on Thursday released the above video of a Wednesday bank robbery at the PNC Bank in Wildwood Shopping Center.
Police also released video (shown below) of the Monday robbery at a PNC Bank inside the Giant Food store in Montrose Crossing Shopping Center. Detectives believe the same man robbed both banks.
In both robberies, police said the suspect entered the bank, approached the teller and presented a note demanding money. Police said the suspect implied that he was armed during the Giant Food robbery on Monday. The suspect got an undisclosed amount of cash in both robberies.
PNC Bank is offering an additional $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Montgomery County offers an award of up to $10,000 in felony cases.
It was the second time in four months the PNC Bank in the Wildwood Shopping Center was robbed.
