Firefighters on Friday afternoon put out a house fire in the 9200 block of Kirkdale Road, near Wyngate Elementary School.
The fire started in the kitchen of the three-story home a little before 1:40 p.m., according to scanner traffic. No one was in the home at the time of the fire and no one was injured, though the homeowner reported there were two dogs in the home.
First responders are still on the scene inspecting the house, which had its living room and upstairs windows broken so firefighters could enter.
