Family concerned for missing 72-year-old Wheaton man

WASHINGTON -- A 72-year-old man is missing from Wheaton, Md. and detectives are asking for the public's help in finding him.

Manuel Arturo Chorro, of Bel Pre Road, has not been seen since he left his house on foot around 6 a.m. Monday morning, according to a Montgomery County police news release. Family members tell police he left without his phone, his ID or any money.

Chorro's family is concerned for his mental well-being, the release states.

Chorro is described as white, about 5-foot-6 and weighing about 140 pounds. Police don't know what he was wearing this morning.
