Weekly Crime Report: Oct. 14 to Oct. 22

A Friendship Heights robbery leads this week’s crime summary:

A robbery occurred at Willard Avenue and Friendship Boulevard in Chevy Chase on Monday, 10/21 at approximately 9:20 p.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

Suspect: B/M, 6’, 150 lbs. 

Other Bethesda/Chevy Chase area crimes include the bizarre kidnapping incident on Tuckerman Lane in North Bethesda. The rest of the most recent 2nd District crime report follows:

A residential burglary occurred in the 7100 block of Glenbrook Road in Bethesda on Monday, 10/21 between 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 4800 block of Crescent Street in Bethesda on Monday, 10/21 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 5400 block of McGrath Boulevard in North Bethesda on Thursday, 10/17 between 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. No further details are available at this time.

A commercial burglary occurred at ME & A Company, 4300 Montgomery Avenue sometime over the weekend between Friday, 10/18 and Monday, 10/21. Unknown entry; property taken.

A theft occurred in the 8200 block of Ellingson Drive in Chevy Chase sometime between Monday, 10/14 and Wednesday, 10/16. Property was taken from outside the residence.
