A pedestrian was struck in downtown Bethesda around 3 p.m.
The incident happened near the Bank of America at 7316 Wisconsin Ave. Paramedics were attending to a pedestrian at Wisconsin Avenue and Elm Street.
The pedestrian was strapped to a stretcher and transported by an ambulance to a hospital.
The far right lane on Wisconsin Avenue is blocked off at Elm Street.
