County Officials Call For Reopening Of Glen Echo Park — Two days after the nonprofit that runs programs in the park urged the National Park Service to reopen it, Councilmember Roger Berliner (D-Bethesda-Chevy Chase) wrote a letter to Department of the Interior Secretary Sally Jewell urging for the same. The National Park Service has allowed some states to reopen parks and allow for non-federally funded programming to continue.
