Vegan Advocates Protest Chicken Farm — Bethesda-based nonprofit Farm Animal Rights Movement is against the use of animals for food. On Wednesday, a few members took to Perdue Farms in Salisbury, headquarters of the chicken processing company, to protest any animal having “its life or death decided by people.” Perdue says it treats its chickens humanely. Dance Bethesda Accepting Applications — The Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District is accepting applications for the 10th annual Dance Bethesda Concert, set for March 7 and 8 next year at the Round House Theatre.
