Rent A Chicken Coop Before You Buy — A Bethesda woman started RentACoop, a company that lets people rent chicken coops before they buy one, a timely service considering what could be new rules on chicken coop ownership in the county. One of the main arguments against relaxing the rules has been that new chicken owners don’t realize the time and commitment needed to properly raising chickens, which leads to the fowl ending up in animal shelters. A fully loaded coop from RentACoop starts at $185 for the first month. [The Gazette]
