This week’s edition of the Montgomery County Police 2nd District crime summary leads off with last week’s Cartier jewelry store robbery and includes a late-night assault in Woodmont Triangle:
A robbery occurred at Cartier, 5471 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda on Tuesday, 4/30 just before 11:00 a.m.
An aggravated assault occurred in the 4900 block of St Elmo Avenue, Bethesda on Friday, 4/26 at approximately 1:15 a.m. The suspects assaulted the victim, then fled.
Suspect: A/M, 25, 5’7”, 160 lbs., black hair; W/M, 23, 5’10”, 170 lbs., black hair; W/M, 24, 5’7”, 150 lbs., short hair.

A residential burglary occurred in the 3300 block of Brooklawn Terrace, Chevy Chase on Tuesday, 4/30 at approximately 5:00 p.m. Unknown means of entry; nothing taken.
Arrested: Male, 32; from Culpeper, VA.
A commercial office burglary occurred in 7315 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda over the weekend from Friday, 4/26 to Monday, 4/29. Forced entry; property taken.
Five thefts from vehicles were reported this week in Bethesda parking garages along St Elmo Avenue, Woodmont Avenue, Wisconsin Avenue and Old Georgetown Road. Incidents occurred during the daytime and during overnight hours, with three involving forced entry and two involving vehicles that had been left unsecured. Laptops, cell phones, clothing, and loose cash were taken.
A residential burglary occurred in the 3900 block of Kincaid Terrace, Kensington on Saturday, 3/27 between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.
A residential burglary occurred in the 10300 block of Detrick Avenue, Kensington on Sunday, 4/28 at approximately 8:45 a.m. Forced entry; nothing taken
