Bethesda Gallery To Feature Local Photographers

Bethesda Urban Partnership’s Gallery B will feature the work of three area photographers and one from Pennsylvania in its February exhibit.

The gallery will include images such as the panorama above of Great Falls, from Chevy Chase resident Dave Montgomery. Montgomery, a vacation photographer, became interested in photography while digitally enhancing images scanned from slides and photos.

Since 2004, Montgomery’s digital composition and photography has been in more than 70 juried shows around the Washington area, including the Friendship Heights Village Center in Chevy Chase and the Strathmore Hall Arts Center in North Bethesda.

Joining Montgomery at the exhibit’s opening reception on Friday, Feb. 8 (from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.) will be Howard Clark, of Montgomery Village, Martin Evans, of Bowie, and Stephen Hoff, of Lock Haven, Pa.

The gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday. Gallery B is located at 7700 Wisconsin Ave., Suite E.
