SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) - A Montgomery County spokesman says no problems have been found with the brakes on a Ride On bus that crashed into a house last month.
Patrick Lacefield tells The Washington Post that the county is still investigating the Aug. 20 crash in Silver Spring. Lacefield says officials have not found any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
The driver told the homeowner after the crash that the brakes had failed.
Six people who were on the bus, including the driver, suffered non-life- threatening injuries in the crash.
