SILVER SPRING, Md. - The Army is asking residents of the Silver Spring area for advice on cleaning up environmental pollution at the Forest Glen Annex.
The first meeting of the Restoration Advisory Board is set for Thursday night at a local community center.
An environmental assessment report last year listed six sites of concern in and around the installation.
They include PCB contamination of current and former Army land, and groundwater tainted with an industrial solvent near a former landfill.
