WASHINGTON - Authorities say four people were struck by a sport-utility vehicle as they stood in line for food in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Northwest Washington.
The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 2900 block of 14th Street, Northwest. D.C. police and fire officials say four adults were taken to hospitals, one with serious injuries.
Police say the SUV driver remained on the scene and is speaking to investigators.
