BRUSSELS (AP) -- Radamel Falcao and Victor Ibarbo scored to help Colombia beat Belgium 2-0 on Thursday in an exhibition game between top-five teams.

In a showdown between two potential stars next year in the World Cup, Falcao got the better of Eden Hazard, if only because of his decisive strike.

In the 52nd minute, Falcao broke open the tight game when he beat the offside trap and swerved past goalkeeper Simon Mignolet to score.

Victor Ibarbo added a goal for fourth-ranked Colombia in the 67th minute.

Belgium is ranked fifth.
