LONDON (AP) -- Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey fired Arsenal to an impressive 2-0 win over big rival Liverpool that extended the Gunners' lead to five points at the top of the Premier League as Chelsea also lost ground in the title race with a 2-0 surprise loss at Newcastle on Saturday.
Arsenal have taken 25 points out of 30 possible this season and are five points clear of both Chelsea and Liverpool in the standings.
Chelsea's fine run of form came to an abrupt end at Newcastle, while Manchester City crushed Norwich 7-0 and Manchester United beat Fulham.
City showed its title credentials with a devastating display that maintained its perfect home record this season. A Bradley Johnson own goal started the rout for Norwich, before goals by David Silva, Matija Nastasic, Alvaro Negredo, Yaya Toure, Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko.
Down at Craven Cottage, United scored three times in the space of 13 minutes to dispatch Fulham 3-1, courtesy of goals from Antonio Valencia, Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney.
BERLIN (AP) -- Bayern Munich returned to the top of the Bundesliga after coming from behind to beat Hoffenheim 2-1 away. It was Bayern's 36th consecutive game without defeat, matching Hamburger SV's 30-year-old Bundesliga record.
Franck Ribery set up Thomas Mueller to score the winner from close range in the 75th minute. Hoffenheim went in front through Niklas Suele in the 34th, only for Bayern to equalize five minutes later when Ribery's free-kick was deflected in by Mario Mandzukic.
The win keeps Bayern one point ahead of Borussia Dortmund, which provisionally claimed the lead Friday with a 6-1 rout of Stuttgart.
Ten-man Freiburg won 3-0 at Nuremberg for its first victory of the season, while bottom side Eintracht Braunschweig surprised third-placed Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 at home for only its second win.
MILAN (AP) -- A late goal by Paul Pogba steered Juventus to a 1-0 win at Parma in coach Antonio Conte's 100th match in charge, as the visitors kept the pressure on Serie A leader Roma.
Conte rested a number of players ahead of Tuesday's crucial Champions League match against Real Madrid but was forced to bring on Andrea Pirlo and Fabio Quagliarella as the visitors struggled to carve out opportunities.
Quagliarella had an immediate effect two minutes after coming off the bench with a stunning long-range shot which crashed off the crossbar and into Pogba's path, allowing the young Frenchman to coolly slot into the bottom corner in the 77th-minute. Amauri had Parma's best chance with a backheeled effort which fizzed just past the left upright from close range.
MADRID (AP) -- Real Sociedad crushed 10-man Osasuna 5-0 ahead of its must-win Champions League game against Manchester United.
Sociedad dominated the visitors at its Anoeta Stadium with Ion Ansotegi, Inigo Martinez, and Antoine Griezmann all scoring through headers from set pieces, with the last coming after Osasuna defender Jordan Loties was shown a red card.
Haris Seferovic released Chori Castro to score in the 81st minute before capping the rout himself by scoring Sociedad's fifth with two minutes to play.
Sociedad goes into Tuesday's match against the English champions winless in the continental competition and six points behind second-place Bayer Leverkusen with three games left to play. United leads Group A with seven points. Real Madrid must beat Rayo Vallecano later Saturday to remain six points behind Spanish leader Barcelona, which was a 1-0 winner over Espanyol on Friday. Barcelona leads the championship with 34 points, Atletico Madrid has 30 and Madrid has 25.
PARIS (AP) -- Marseille ended a five-match losing streak in all competitions by drawing 1-1 with Rennes in the French league. Rennes striker Nelson Oliveira pounced on a miscued clearance from Marseille fullback Jeremy Morel to fire home a powerful strike from the edge of the box in the ninth minute for his seventh goal this season.
But Marseille forward Jordan Ayew leveled by converting a low cross from Kassim Abdallah in the 16th. Marseille provisionally climbed to fifth place, five points behind third-place Lille.
Paris Saint-Germain consolidated its lead atop the league by routing Lorient 4-0 on Friday.
