LONDON (AP) -- Chelsea and manager Jose Mourinho ended a four-game winless streak, beating visiting Fulham 2-0 Saturday in the Premier League's west London derby on goals by Oscar and John Obi Mikel.

Oscar put the hosts ahead in the 52nd minute and Mikel scored his first Premier League goal in the 84th -- his first for Chelsea in any competition since the FA Cup against Macclesfield on Jan. 6, 2007.

Despite a draw at Manchester United and home loss to Everton in the league, Chelsea (3-1-1) moved into first place on goal difference ahead of Liverpool. The Reds (also 3-1-1) lost to visiting Southampton, which got a 53rd-minute goal from Dejan Lovren and an outstanding save by Artur Boruc on Steven Gerrard's first-half free kick.

"I understand at this moment we are not playing very, very well. The results are not especially good," said Mourinho, who returned as Chelsea's manager this season. "But the beauty of the Premier League is that ... everybody loses matches."

Arsenal and Tottenham (both 3-1) and Everton (2-0-3) are one point back. The Toffees rallied for a 3-2 win at West Ham behind two goals from Leighton Baines and one from Romelu Lukaku.

American goalkeeper Brad Guzan save a sixth-minute penalty kick by Robert Snodgrass for Aston Villa, which won 1-0 at Norwich behind Libor Kozak's 30th-minute goal.

Manchester City hosts defending champion Manchester United on Sunday, when Arsenal is home against Stoke and Tottenham plays at Cardiff.

In a meeting between the league's only winless teams, host West Bromwich Albion beat Sunderland 3-0. American forward Jozy Altidore entered in the 59th for the visitors. Hull came from behind to win 3-2 at Newcastle.

In the second-tier League Championship, 20-year-old Jesse Lingard began a monthlong loan to Birmingham from Manchester United by scoring four goals in Birmingham's 4-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday.

BARCELONA, Spain (AP) -- Pedro Rodriguez scored his first career hat trick for Barcelona, Victor Valdes saved a penalty kick for the second time in four days and the Spanish champions won 4-0 at Rayo Vallecano to remain perfect in five league games this season.

Pedro scored from a Lionel Messi pass in the 33rd minute and added goals in the 47th and 72nd, and Cesc Fabregas got the final goal in the 80th. Valdes dived to parry Roberto Trashorras' penalty kick in the 35th after blocking a spot kick by Ajax's Kolbeinn Sigthorsson in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Pedro has five goals, second to Messi's six. His only previous top-level hat trick was for Spain against Belarus in a World Cup qualifier last October.

Barcelona leads on goal difference over Atletico Madrid, which won 2-0 at Valladolid on goals by Raul Garcia and Diego Costa. Real Madrid is five points back heading into Sunday's home game against Getafe.

BERLIN (AP) -- Defending champion Bayern Munich routed Schalke 4-0 on goals by Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mario Mandzukic, Franck Ribery and Claudio Pizarro -- Schalke's largest margin of defeat at home since a 6-0 loss to Bochum in May 1981.

Under new coach Pep Guardiola, Bayern is second on goal difference behind Borussia Dortmund.

"It was our best game in the Bundesliga. We dominated completely. We were pressurizing for the whole game," said Guardiola, who succeeded Jupp Heynckes in the summer. "I'm very happy and proud."

Dortmund (also 5-0-1) tied 1-1 1t Nuremberg, which rallied on Per Nilsson's 51st-minute goal, 14 minutes after Marcel Schmelzer scored for the visitors.

ROME (AP) -- Promoted Livorno stayed on the tails of the Serie A leaders by earning a 0-0 draw at Genoa on Saturday.

Livorno, which finished third in Serie B last season, is just two points behind league leaders Napoli and Roma.

On Sunday, Napoli's perfect record will be put to the test at the San Siro against AC Milan. Roma, which also has three wins in three matches, faces Lazio in the capital's derby.

BERLIN (AP) -- Defending champion Bayern Munich routed Schalke 4-0 to join Borussia Dortmund atop the Bundesliga on Saturday in the side's most impressive performance since Pep Guardiola took over as coach.

It was Schalke's biggest home defeat in the league since a 6-0 loss to Bochum in May 1981.

Dortmund drew 1-1 at Nuremberg to drop its first points of the season.

Werder Bremen defeated Hamburger SV 2-0 to compound a bad week for the home side, which sacked Thorsten Fink as coach on Monday.

Bayer Leverkusen won 4-1 at Mainz, Wolfsburg came from behind to defeat Hoffenheim 2-1, and Szabolcs Huszti's late penalty gave Hannover a 2-1 win over Augsburg.
