DORTMUND, Germany (AP) -- About 15,000 fans braved cool and rainy weather on Sunday to welcome Borussia Dortmund at its stadium following the team's return from the Champions League final in London.

Dortmund lost 2-1 on a late goal by Arjen Robben on Saturday at Wembley.

"It's like all the wounds have healed overnight," Dortmund's coach Juergen Klopp said after the team's return. "It was the best game against Bayern by any team in a long time."

Dortmund's fans chanted "You'll never walk alone" as the team left the field after thanking the fans for their support.

About 50,000 fans saw the final on a giant screen in a downtown square.
