CHICAGO (AP) -- United Airlines has reached an agreement to keep its name on the home of the Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks for another 20 years.

The two main tenants of the United Center and United Center Joint Venture, which runs the arena, joined the airline for the official announcement Wednesday. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The first naming rights deal for the United Center was announced in 1992 and reportedly cost the Chicago-based airline an average of $1.8 million per year. It was set to expire in 2014.

Under the new pact, United remains the official airline of the arena, Bulls and Blackhawks. It gets exclusivity in the airline category and the right to use the logos of its three partners.
