DURHAM, N.C. (AP) -- Top-ranked Duke has earned its 100th straight nonconference victory at Cameron Indoor Stadium by beating Elon (EE'-lahn) 76-54 behind Mason Plumlee's 21 points and 15 rebounds. Duke hasn't lost to a non-ACC team at home since falling to St. John's in 2000.

CHICAGO (AP) -- The other competition that Duke has won is the Jabari (jah-BAHR'-ee) Parker derby. Parker, one of the nation's most prized high school recruits out of Chicago's Simeon (SIH'-mee-ahn) Career Academy, yesterday chose the Blue Devils as his college over Michigan State, Florida, Stanford and BYU.

UNDATED (AP) -- There are just two games on the Friday night AP Top-25 college basketball schedule. Sixth-ranked Indiana is home against Florida Atlantic while the 22nd-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish play their final game before the Christmas holidays against Niagara.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Oklahoma City Thunder's winning streak ended at a dozen last night. Kevin Love poured in 33 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out seven assists in Minnesota's 99-93 upset of the Thunder.

CHICAGO (AP) -- The Chicago Cubs will be Edwin Jackson's eighth big league team in 11 seasons. A source familiar with the deal says the Cubs and the 29-year-old Jackson have agreed on a four-year deal worth $52 million in a free agent signing that could boost the fortunes of the Wrigley Field denizens.
