Md. casinos generate over $82 million in September

BALTIMORE (AP) — Maryland officials say the state’s five casinos brought in more than $82.4 million in revenue last month.

The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency announced the revenue numbers Monday. Maryland Live Casino in Anne Arundel County led the group with more than $45.5 million from slot machines and table games. That’s an approximately 10 percent decrease from September 2013.

Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, which opened to the public in August, brought in $22 million.

Hollywood Casino Perryville generated nearly $6 million, about an 11 percent decline compared to last September.

Casino at Ocean Downs generated nearly $5 million, about a 3 percent decrease from September 2013.

Rocky Gap Casino Resort generated about $3.6 million from slot machines and table games, an increase of about 16 percent from September 2013.
